Sculptra Injections Wash Park, Denver
Sculptra is a biostimulant that helps your skin rebuild its own collagen and support.
Ideal for volume loss or mild to moderate laxity, it strengthens the foundation of the face over a series of treatments. The result is a smoother, stronger, more lifted version of you that lasts up to 3 years after treatment.
Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra does not deliver immediate volume. It is poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible material that signals your skin to produce new collagen gradually over several months. The result is improvement that develops slowly, looks natural at every stage, and lasts longer than most other injectables. At Theresa Carrie Aesthetics in Denver's Wash Park, every Sculptra treatment is performed by Theresa, a board-certified nurse practitioner with advanced anatomy and injection training.

What to Expect
A consultation is required for all new Sculptra patients.
Your provider will sit down with you to discuss your concerns, priorities, goals, expectations, and budget. A comprehensive facial assessment will be performed to evaluate skin integrity for fine lines, wrinkles, and laxity, as well as volume loss and overall facial balance
Education is a key part of the visit, your provider will explain how Sculptra works, your unique facial anatomy, which areas may benefit, and what results to realistically expect. A personalized treatment plan will be created collaboratively, with ample time for questions.
If appropriate, your Sculptra treatment appointment will be scheduled for a future date (Sculptra is not performed on the same day as the consultation). You will be provided with detailed pre- and post-treatment instructions to help you prepare and optimize your results.
Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your body’s own collagen production, so results develop over time rather than immediately. An initial series of three treatments is typically recommended, spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
Most patients should expect 1 to 3 days of potential downtime, including swelling, tenderness, or bruising. Results continue to build over several months as collagen production increases.
After the initial series, results are typically maintained with one treatment every 1 to 2 years, depending on individual goals.

How We Approach Sculptra
Sculptra is a long game.
Where filler delivers volume immediately, Sculptra works underneath the surface, signaling your body to build its own collagen over the course of several months. That makes it especially well-suited for patients who want gradual restoration rather than a noticeable change after a single appointment.
Most Sculptra plans involve a series of two to three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, with results developing over the following three to six months. Once the foundation is built, results can last two to three years. Theresa's approach is conservative and structural: assessing where bone and soft tissue have changed, mapping treatment to your specific anatomy, and pacing the series so results build naturally over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is Sculptra different from regular filler?
Hyaluronic acid filler delivers immediate volume that lasts months. Sculptra is a biostimulator. It does not add volume directly but stimulates your body to build its own collagen over time. Results develop gradually and can last two to three years. Many patients use both together for different goals.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients need a series of two to three Sculptra appointments, spaced four to six weeks apart. The exact number depends on your starting point and your goals. We will map this out in your consultation.
When will I see results?
You may notice initial changes within the first few weeks, but full results develop over three to six months as your collagen rebuilds. This gradual timeline is part of why Sculptra results look so natural.
How long do results last?
Once the full series is complete, results typically last two to three years. Yearly maintenance treatments (one/year) are recommended to maintain results created during the initial treatment series.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. You may have some swelling, redness, or small bruising at injection sites for a few days. Bruising can last up to two weeks. Aftercare includes massaging the treated areas as instructed, which helps prevent uneven texture and supports smooth collagen development.
Who is Sculptra a good fit for?
Sculptra is well-suited for patients with mild to moderate skin laxity, volume loss, or early signs of aging who want a gradual, natural-looking result. It is not the right choice if you want immediate volume in a specific area, in which case HA filler is usually a better option.
How much does it cost?
Sculptra is $800 per vial. Most treatment series use two to four vials total, depending on the plan. We will give you a clear estimate during your consultation.
Do you accept new patients?
Yes. New clients are seen by appointment only. A consultation is required for all new Sculptra patients. Book the consultation or text the practice at 720-281-9551 with questions.
